Key Information: Application batches assessed twice yearly; submit by 4pm on the due date for inclusion.
This fellowship supports ambitious early-career researchers in mathematical sciences who have completed a PhD and postdoctoral experience, enabling them to establish an independent research niche and build a research team within the UK. The fellowship aims to accelerate career progression toward research independence, focusing on projects where research novelty is primarily in the mathematical sciences as defined by EPSRC. Interdisciplinary proposals are welcome if they develop new mathematical or statistical tools. An optional "plus" component allows fellows to champion improvements in research culture, equality, diversity, inclusion, or public engagement.
