Description
The American Museum of Natural History’s Richard Gilder Graduate School (RGGS) offers the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation Field Research Awards through a gift from the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation. The program provides matching support for graduate student and postdoctoral field research, helping researchers cover travel and essential expenses associated with investigating natural environments.
Two awards are offered annually: the Biology Field Research Award and the Earth Science Field Research Award. Both focus on field-based work rather than laboratory research, museum collections visits, or conference participation.
