Description

The MCCF General Grant Application provides funding to nonprofit organizations serving McPherson County, Kansas. Grants support a wide range of community needs, including but not limited to the arts, basic human needs and disaster relief, children and youth, community development and leadership, conservation, preservation and beautification, education, services for the elderly, and health care and mental health. Funding can be used for programmatic support, equipment, or capital improvements, as well as operating support, seed funding for new initiatives, capacity building, and capital campaigns.

Applications are evaluated on their potential impact, collaboration with other organizations, board and volunteer involvement, fiscal responsibility, ability to leverage additional funding, and project sustainability. The grant is intended to strengthen the capacity and reach of local nonprofits, helping them address pressing community challenges and opportunities.
