The McKnight Fellowship for Ceramic Artists provides significant support to midcareer ceramic artists residing in Minnesota. The fellowship aims to recognize artists who have demonstrated sustained accomplishment, commitment, and artistic excellence across any ceramic methodology—functional, sculptural, or relational. Each year, two fellows receive unrestricted $25,000 grants to further their artistic development, experiment with new materials or techniques, purchase equipment, collaborate, or pursue education, exhibition, or travel opportunities. Fellows also participate in a group exhibition and are featured in a catalog, with the exhibition traveling to venues across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
