The Meadows Foundation is a private family foundation in Dallas supporting work that improves the quality and circumstances of life for people in Texas. Its six giving areas are arts and culture, civic and public affairs, education, environment, health, and human services. Grants reach communities statewide, with up to 50% of giving focused on Dallas–Fort Worth.
The Foundation favors well-planned programs and projects delivered by organizations with the capacity to execute them. It looks for quantitatively measurable outcomes, potential to scale impact, identified or secured support from other sources, and work for which its support would be vital. Requests aligned with its five initiatives—postsecondary completion, educator preparation, water conservation, depression, and homelessness—receive additional consideration.
