Description
The Dermatology Foundation’s Mechanisms of Type 2 Inflammation Mid-career Award, sponsored by Sanofi and Regeneron, supports outstanding investigators with an established record of excellence in basic, clinical, or translational science. It funds research expected to generate innovative findings and deepen understanding of dermatological issues associated with mechanisms of Type 2 inflammation. Proposals should be hypothesis-driven and cover a three-year period.
The award is designed to advance the research and academic careers of exceptional mid-career investigators, who are expected to actively pursue “R” funding. Within its Research Award Program, the Foundation encourages applicants from minority populations and research addressing health issues affecting racial minorities, sexual and gender/LGBTQ minorities, and underserved or disadvantaged populations.
