Description
The Oregon Media Arts Fellowship honors Oregon’s professional media artists and their achievements while supporting their career development. Funded by the Oregon Arts Commission and administered by the Portland Art Museum’s Center for an Untold Tomorrow (PAM CUT), the fellowship provides financial support to create or complete new work or works-in-progress. Review panels seek outstanding talent, demonstrated ability, and commitment to creating new work.
The program supports artist-driven practices using moving images, sound, digital technologies, or time-based media as a primary form of expression. Eligible practices include narrative, documentary, and experimental film; animation; video art; artist-made television and episodic work; audio and podcasts; immersive and interactive media; web-based and digital work; augmented, virtual, and mixed reality; and emerging media forms.
