This program provides financial support for 4th-year US medical students who are AAN members to participate in neurology visiting student rotations at LCME/AOA-accredited US medical schools or the National Institutes of Health. The scholarship aims to reduce barriers for students from diverse backgrounds and those committed to addressing disparities in neurologic care or improving access in underserved communities. Awardees are expected to engage in rotations that are clinical (not observerships), lasting at least three weeks, and located outside their home institution. Recipients must also provide feedback and reflections to help improve the program.
