The Medical Student Scholar Program is designed to provide medical students with early, immersive exposure to the field of interventional radiology (IR). Selected scholars receive complimentary registration to the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) Annual Scientific Meeting, a $1,000 travel scholarship, and special recognition during the event. The program features dedicated programming for medical students, a scholars reception, and unique networking opportunities. Recipients are required to submit a post-meeting essay reflecting on their experience, which may be published by SIR.
