Description
This grant, jointly supported by the Medical Toxicology Foundation and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Foundation (SAEMF), aims to advance the science and practice of medical toxicology within emergency medicine. The program encourages innovative research addressing clinical practice, education, toxicity from pharmaceuticals and chemicals, envenomations, opioid-use disorders, chemical or radiological emergency preparedness, and global toxicology. Projects that serve as pilot studies for larger future research are particularly encouraged. The grant also fosters collaboration between members of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) and SAEM.
