Description
The Medieval Academy of America’s Best Student Paper Prize recognizes student work associated with the Academy’s Annual Meeting. It is an award for a conference paper rather than funding for a separate research project or broader program of work. Graduate students can request consideration through the Annual Meeting Bursaries application form, where the prize appears alongside the bursary opportunity.
The Academy supports medieval scholarship, academic exchange, and researchers’ professional development. Within that setting, the prize highlights a student’s academic work presented in connection with the Annual Meeting. Applicants requesting prize consideration must submit their completed paper to the Program Committee before the conference.
