Description
Meet with a Career Coach is part of Rhode Island’s Youth WIOA programs, offered through community-based providers listed by the Governor’s Workforce Board. It helps young people decide what to do next when they are exploring work, seeking training related to their interests, or planning for college.
Providers offer tutoring and dropout recovery services, alternative secondary school options, and preparation for postsecondary education. Support also includes counseling, education and job training, occupational and entrepreneurial skills training, paid or unpaid work experience, financial literacy, leadership development, and adult mentoring.
