Description
The Meigs County Foundation (MCF), a local affiliate of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), awards annual grants with donor support to projects and programs benefiting Meigs County residents and communities. Gifts to MCF’s endowment are invested, and the earnings support its annual grantmaking.
The program advances opportunities across five “Pillars of Prosperity”: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. Its emphasis is on supporting individuals of all ages who are spearheading projects and programs that create opportunities, meet pressing needs and unleash the potential within Meigs County. Funding is available to nonprofits, schools and public organizations carrying out this community-benefiting work.
