--- ## Description This scholarship opportunity is designed for students who can effectively showcase their personality, achievements, academic and career goals, and interests through a short video. The award aims to recognize individuals who excel at presenting their stories in a compelling and creative way. Applications are reviewed monthly, and the process is open and inclusive, with no GPA or field of study restrictions. --- ## Due Dates - Rolling monthly deadlines; applications are considered for up to 3 months after submission. - Next major deadline: September 14, 2025. - Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible for the best chance of selection. - Recipients are typically notified within 3 weeks of selection, with public announcements within 6 weeks. --- ## Funding Amount - Each recipient receives a one-time $2,000 scholarship. - Awards are made on a rolling basis throughout the year. --- ## Eligibility - Open to all Honor Society members (membership is free and open to all students; no GPA or field of study requirements). - Applicants must be comfortable providing a video and/or written testimonial about their experience and the scholarship. - Must complete an Honor Society profile and upload a headshot. - No purchase or premium membership required to apply. - International students are eligible if they can join Honor Society. --- ## Application Process - Create a spotlight video (up to 3 minutes) that includes: - General information (first name, school, major) - Academic and career goals - Interests, hobbies, or fun facts - Upload the video as a link (Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar service) in the application form. - Attach a current transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable to apply; official transcript required if selected). - Complete your Honor Society profile and upload a headshot. - Submit the application via the [Honor Society Member Spotlight Scholarship page](https://www.honorsociety.org/member-spotlight-scholarship-0). - Applications are judged based on video quality and content using a defined rubric.
