--- ## Description The Member Spotlight Scholarship celebrates students who produce a short video (up to 3 minutes) showcasing their personality, academic and career goals, achievements, and interests. The scholarship is designed to highlight individual stories and accomplishments, with recipients chosen based on the quality and content of their video submissions. The program aims to recognize excellence, leadership, and community involvement, providing public acknowledgment and financial support to standout students. --- ## Due Dates - April 14, 2026: Application deadline / scholarship submission deadline (Member Spotlight Scholarship) --- ## Funding Amount - Each award is $2,000. - Typically, one recipient is selected per cycle. - Award amounts, deadlines, and criteria are subject to change at the discretion of Honor Society®. --- ## Eligibility - Open to all individuals; applicants do **not** need to be Honor Society® members. - No purchase or membership payment is required to apply or win. - Applicants should be comfortable providing a video and/or written testimonial about their experience and the scholarship. - Applicants must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. - Not open to residents of jurisdictions where such programs are restricted or prohibited by law. --- ## Application Process - Prepare a spotlight video (up to 3 minutes) that includes: - General information (first name, school, major) - Academic and career goals - Interests, hobbies, or fun facts - Submit the video via a Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar file-sharing link in the application form. - Attach a copy of your current transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable to apply; official transcript required before scholarship disbursement). - Complete your Honor Society profile and upload a headshot (if applying as a member). - Applications are reviewed and scored by a scholarship committee using a rubric. In case of a tie, the recipient is selected at random from among tied applicants. - Recipients can expect to hear back within 3 weeks of selection; public announcements occur within 6 weeks.
