Description
The Menstrual Hygiene Products Accessibility Grant Program, administered by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), is designed to ensure equitable access to free menstrual hygiene products in Colorado educational settings. Established by SB 21-255 and expanded by HB 24-1164, the program provides funding to eligible local education providers for the purchase and distribution of menstrual products (tampons, pads, pantiliners) and for the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of dispensing machines and disposal receptacles. The initiative aims to remove barriers to education, support student well-being, and ensure products are available to all students regardless of gender identity.
