Description
The Minnesota Department of Health’s Office of Rural Health and Primary Care administers this grant to help mental health professionals from communities of color and underrepresented communities qualify as supervisors for students and practitioners pursuing licensure. Rather than funding individual trainees, it seeks proposals from organizations that will provide eligible professionals with free training and support.
Funded programs must offer a comprehensive course of education through which participants can earn every credit or continuing education unit their respective licensing boards require for supervisory recognition. The continuing education curricula must be approved by those boards as acceptable coursework.
