Description
The Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation (HSF) offers the Mentored Experience Grant to help trainees develop clinical and procedural skills in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Listed by the Society for Investigative Dermatology, the grant supports training relationships with HS experts that might otherwise be difficult to arrange because of distance or funding.
Awardees spend time working in person under the mentorship and direction of an HSF leader, learning to manage patients with HS. The experience may also provide an opportunity to discuss conducting and publishing HS-related research. Its focus is mentored clinical learning rather than a separately defined research project.
