Description
The Mentored Research Investigator Training (MeRIT) Program is a two-year longitudinal training initiative designed to help pharmacists—particularly pharmacy faculty or practitioners with limited research experience—develop the skills necessary to conduct investigator-initiated research. The curriculum combines live, in-person events, webinars, and virtual mentoring, guiding participants from research idea conception through protocol development, data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation. Each participant is paired with an experienced ACCP mentor and a local advisor, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the research process. The program is ideal for individuals committed to integrating research into their careers and for those seeking to become principal or co-investigators on research teams.
