Description
The Merit Awards, funded by Conquer Cancer (the ASCO Foundation), honor high-quality oncology research abstracts submitted by eligible trainees and students to the ASCO Annual Meeting. Recipients receive a monetary award, complimentary meeting registration, the opportunity to present their research, and access to reserved hotel blocks. Several Special Merit Awards are available annually for top-ranking abstracts in specific fields such as pediatric oncology, pain management, and others. The program aims to recognize and support emerging talent in cancer research and foster professional development within the oncology community.
