Description
Ohio State University’s Mershon Center for International Security Studies offers cosponsorships for events and programming hosted by other units that connect with its mission and constituency. Support is intended to benefit the Mershon community, Ohio State, and security studies by linking other units’ programming with the Center’s work.
The Center cultivates innovative research at the intersections of international, national, and human security. Its interests include diplomacy, conflict, peacemaking, governance, and cooperative problem-solving, with particular attention to the human and social dimensions of complex problems. It encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, engaged research, and activities with clear implications for policy or practice. Collaborative programming should serve a wider constituency and bring together multiple perspectives from within or beyond academia.
