--- ## Description The National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to support research projects that use integrative, systems-level approaches to address specific questions in metastasis research. Projects should align with the central themes of the Metastasis Research Network (MetNet), such as tumor dormancy, early dissemination, microenvironment crosstalk, or mechanisms of metastatic cell responses to therapy. Awardees will become active participants in MetNet, a collaborative network launched in 2021 to advance understanding of metastasis as a complex, whole-body process. Projects are expected to complement ongoing MetNet research and participate in all network activities, including serving on the MetNet Steering Committee.
