Description
The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta runs Metropolitan Atlanta Arts to strengthen independent arts organizations and broaden public access to arts and culture across metro Atlanta. Its general operating grants support both programming and day-to-day operations, rather than a single project, so organizations can sustain their work and increase public engagement.
The program is for organizations with a primary arts or culture mission and a history of programming for the public. Activities do not have to be free. Organizations specializing in murals or public art must demonstrate meaningful community engagement and include public programming.
