Description

This fellowship honors the achievements of visual artists who are members of the College Art Association (CAA), have an MFA or equivalent, and are actively teaching studio art at a university or community college (full-time or part-time, in the U.S. or internationally). The award aims to support the professional growth of artist-educators, provide recognition among peers, and bring attention to both recipients and their institutions. Funded through the partnership and generosity of Michael Aurbach, the fellowship is adjudicated by a jury of artists and does not require a project proposal—selection is made solely on the strength of the applicant’s artistic work.
