--- ## Description This scholarship assists graduate students with travel expenses to present their research at the ACSM Annual Meeting. Established in honor of Dr. Michael L. Pollock, a pioneering exercise scientist and the 26th president of ACSM, the award aims to encourage scientific inquiry and support emerging researchers in health, fitness, and clinical exercise physiology. Recipients are selected based on their research quality and relevance, and must be first authors and presenters of a poster accepted at the ACSM Annual Meeting. --- ## Due Dates - March 2027 (anticipated/projected full application submission deadline) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $400 per award - 2 awards given annually - One-time travel scholarship to support attendance and presentation at the ACSM Annual Meeting --- ## Eligibility - Must be a graduate student enrolled full-time in a program with a research focus on health, fitness, or clinical exercise physiology. - Must be an ACSM national member in good standing before applying (chapter membership alone is not sufficient). - Must be the first author and presenter of a poster accepted at the ACSM Annual Meeting. - Previous recipients of the Michael L.
