Description
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia partners with Micron to strengthen STEM learning by building knowledge, systems, and capacity across Northern Virginia. The fund supports nonprofits and educational institutions that provide underserved students with high-quality, career-connected STEM experiences. Its priorities reflect Micron’s semiconductor career pathways and workforce needs, expanding exposure to underrepresented STEM fields and pathways aligned with high-demand technology careers.
Supported areas include engineering, robotics, computer science, applied math, physics, chemistry, AI, data science, and semiconductor-aligned content. Programs may also support teachers and collaboration with students’ families. Through hands-on learning, the fund aims to help students build skills, confidence, and momentum toward future careers.
