Key Information: Applicants must be ACDS members in good standing and at least six years out of residency.
The American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS) Mid-Career Development Award helps individual members acquire specific skills and knowledge to advance their professional development in contact dermatitis and occupational dermatology. It supports defined educational programs, including hands-on training and other educational activities, rather than equipment purchases or meeting attendance.
Training may develop academic, clinical, or research skills in areas such as patch testing, occupational dermatology, and teaching contact dermatitis. Applicants identify the skills they wish to acquire and propose an educational program tailored to their needs. Selection considers both the merit of the proposed program and the applicant’s perceived need to improve those skills.
