The NSCA Foundation’s Mid-Career Investigator Research Grant supports defined studies whose purpose and specific aims align with the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s mission in strength and conditioning. The Foundation advances the field through research grants and coaching opportunities.
Funded studies must be conducted at the investigator’s academic institution where institutional review board (IRB) approval was obtained. The Foundation distinguishes scientifically justified corroboration or replication from unnecessary duplication of previously funded work. Travel and general salary costs are not supported, although properly justified undergraduate and graduate student salaries may be included in the research budget.
