Description
This grant supports U.S. mid-career professionals and specialists seeking to enhance their professional expertise through a four to five month sabbatical in Finland. The program emphasizes hands-on professional development, further education, or training that will benefit both the grantee and their field. Eligible activities include practical experiences in organizations, site visits, public lectures, and other professional experiences, but do not include academic research or classroom lecturing. Grantees act as ambassadors, fostering cross-cultural and professional ties between Finland and the United States, and benefit from orientation, support services, and networking opportunities provided by the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
