Description
The Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS) Mid-Career Research Award (MCRA) is designed to support clinicians, physician-scientists, and discovery-based scientists with 5 to 15 years of academic research experience. The award funds two-year clinical, translational, or basic science projects in the fields of hemostasis and thrombosis. The primary goal is to facilitate the transition to full research independence and help recipients become competitive for large-scale grants such as NIH R01s or equivalent. Projects must have a substantial component of hemostasis or thrombosis and demonstrate a clear pathway toward future independent funding.
