Description
The AIST Midwest Member Chapter Scholarship Program provides scholarship support through the Association for Iron and Steel Technology Foundation. It serves students connected to the Midwest chapter, including graduating high school seniors and early-stage undergraduates. Awards cover several fields and applicant groups, including engineering students, women in engineering, electrical or computer students, non-engineering students, and Material Advantage student members.
The program offers up to fourteen scholarships through a single application. It is part of AIST’s network of 22 local member chapters, which collectively issue more than 43 scholarships annually. Midwest awards are selected on merit by an impartial scholarship committee not connected with the chapter. Funding supports attendance at an accredited North American college or university rather than research or project activities.
