Description
The Mineral Point Community Endowment Fund is a permanent endowment established in June 2016 and overseen by the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. It invests resources in Mineral Point and its schools to meet changing charitable, educational, civic, historical, and cultural needs. Each year, a portion of the endowment’s earnings returns to the community through grants to qualified organizations.
A local volunteer advisory board leads fundraising and determines grant awards twice a year. Grants support community programs and projects delivered by nonprofit organizations, the local school district, and local government agencies. The endowment also includes funds established by individuals and families to advance their charitable goals for Mineral Point.
