Description
Humanities Nebraska (HN), Nebraska’s affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, offers Mini Grants for public humanities projects that explore what connects people and makes us human. Projects must encourage interaction, thought, and discussion of humanities ideas and questions, rather than advocate a particular solution or course of action. Support focuses on humanities expertise, resources, and direct project costs.
HN prioritizes connections between humanities and other subjects, partnerships with nontraditional organizations, hands-on experiences, structured dialogue across differences, and innovative digital engagement. Other humanities projects remain competitive. Special consideration may go to statewide projects or audiences underserved because of geography or socioeconomic status. HN also encourages programming addressing diverse and underrepresented groups.
