Description
Arizona Humanities, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, offers Mini Grants for innovative, community-based work that uses the humanities to illuminate issues significant to Arizonans. Grants can support capacity-building, program planning, and implementation; capacity-building may include training constituents who help plan or deliver public humanities activities.
The program aims to foster thoughtful community exchange, reach new audiences, and develop new approaches to humanities programming. Possible formats include interactive lectures and discussions, exhibits, third-party peer-reviewed publications, broadcasts, film documentaries, and discussions around performances. Arizona Humanities prioritizes projects with a clear Arizona connection.
