Description
The Mini Grants program, administered by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), provides funding to public and private K-12 schools, PTAs, and community nonprofit groups within the City of Seattle. The grants are designed to encourage and support safe walking, biking, and rolling to school by funding events, supplies, and other activities that promote active transportation for students. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, walk and bike to school day events, intersection murals, outdoor clothing for students, safety patrol equipment, and encouragement incentives. The program aims to empower school communities to customize efforts that foster active and safe travel to and from school.
