Description
The Ministry of Health Research Seed Grant Program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) provides targeted seed funding to support collaborative research projects that directly address the evolving needs and priority research questions of the BC Ministry of Health. The program aims to foster partnerships between UBC academic researchers and Ministry staff, enabling the co-creation of evidence that informs health policy, planning, and service delivery across British Columbia. Emphasis is placed on knowledge translation, relationship-building, and the development of research proposals that are both academically rigorous and practically relevant to real-world Ministry questions. Projects may launch new lines of inquiry or enhance existing research, provided they align with current Ministry priorities.
