    Description

MIRA (Mobilité à l'International de Recherche Artistique) is a program administered by the Institut français to support the international mobility of artists and artisans for research residencies. The program is open to French nationals and foreign artists who have resided in France for over five years. It offers two main tracks:

    • MIRA Livre: For authors with writing projects requiring international research.
    • MIRA Métiers d’Art: For artisans and designers seeking to develop creative projects abroad.

Residencies last a minimum of one month and must take place outside France. The program aims to foster artistic development, international collaboration, and professional growth, with a strong emphasis on supporting emerging talents and those not previously funded.
