    Description

The Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board (MSPB) annually solicits soybean research, education, and technology transfer proposals. The program invests Mississippi soybean checkoff dollars in work that directly or indirectly benefits the state’s soybean industry, improves farmers’ bottom-line potential, and supports sustainable production. The 2027–2028 cycle seeks projects with the greatest potential to improve Mississippi soybean production.

MSPB’s strategy combines production research, identification of market opportunities, and communication of results to farmers and industry influencers. It seeks individuals and teams addressing Mississippi production challenges, including public research and extension programs and private enterprise projects. Regional cooperation is strongly encouraged so projects can draw on expertise and facilities across state lines and avoid duplicating existing work.
