The MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship (formerly the Legatum Center) is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and innovators worldwide with the skills, support, and resources to drive sustainable and inclusive prosperity in global growth markets. The Center's flagship Student Fellowship provides tuition support and a tailored curriculum for MIT students committed to launching impactful ventures, particularly in emerging and developing economies. Additional programs include bootcamps, research dissemination, and the Foundry Fellowship, which focuses on experienced entrepreneurs, especially from Africa. Since its founding in 2007, the Center has supported over 600 innovators from more than 67 countries.
