Description
The MIT-MGB Seed Program, part of the MIT HEALS initiative, provides seed funding for collaborative, early-stage research projects that advance human health through innovative therapies, diagnostics, digital tools, and technologies. The program is designed to catalyze new, interdisciplinary collaborations primarily between MIT faculty or principal investigators, supporting high-impact, high-risk research that generates preliminary data and prototypes. The ultimate goal is to position teams for future translational work and larger-scale external funding. Projects must align with the HEALS mission and are expected to break disciplinary silos, integrate diverse approaches, and address significant challenges in health and life sciences.
