Description
Mitacs AI Advantage supports partnerships between Canadian organizations and academic talent to put artificial intelligence to work. Its ADOPT offering helps organizations move from AI readiness to implementation through activities such as opportunity assessments, adoption roadmaps, deployment planning and internal capacity-building. AI+X supports applied research and development that combines AI and sector expertise to address real-world challenges and develop new knowledge, methods, products or solutions.
Mitacs supports these collaborations through paid placements for students, postdoctoral fellows and eligible recent graduates. The program aims to make AI adoption more accessible, strengthen organizations’ innovation capacity and give emerging talent hands-on experience. Projects do not need to follow a specific research theme.
