Mitacs’ GRA G7 Artificial Intelligence Adoption Call supports academic collaboration and student and researcher mobility between Canada and France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It prioritizes high-quality academic AI research and translating that research into real-world applications. Ideal projects advance foundational and applied AI knowledge while demonstrating potential to support adoption by small and medium-sized enterprises.
Interns conduct research in the other country under joint home and host academic supervision. The award supports travel, accommodation, research-related expenses, and stipends, connecting international research experience with Canada’s commitment to AI leadership.
