    Description

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, offers this visiting faculty program for full-time faculty at Canadian universities travelling from Canada to IISc. It supports planned activities and programs across all sectors represented by IISc’s departments and centres, rather than focusing on a single research field. Faculty may apply directly or identify an IISc host faculty member for their proposed visit.

The opportunity is listed alongside the Mitacs Globalink Research Award, but its funding and administration are outside Mitacs’ purview. It is distinct from both the standard Globalink internship program and IISc’s separate visiting student and researcher track. Visiting faculty receive a monthly honorarium aligned with IISc faculty levels and round-trip economy-class airfare.
