Description
The MMUF Adjunct Faculty Fellowships are run by the Institute for Citizens & Scholars and funded by The Mellon Foundation. Part of the MMUF Advancement Program, they give alumni of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship protected time and financial support to pursue research and scholarship needed for a tenure-track position.
During the six-month fellowship, fellows receive guidance from an assigned senior-scholar mentor and opportunities to connect with mentors and peers. The program aims to help emerging teacher-scholars refine their research agendas, strengthen their academic profiles, and prepare tenure-track applications while continuing to teach.
