The MNRS Founders Circle Dissertation Grant supports nurse researchers in the Midwest conducting dissertation research that advances nursing science and practice. Offered by the Midwest Nursing Research Society through donations to its Foundation Council, it funds quantitative and qualitative research on any topic relevant to nursing science.
The award supports the practical costs of conducting research rather than educational assistance, dissertation preparation, or conference presentations. The MNRS Grants Committee reviews applications and recommends funding to the MNRS Board of Directors. One award is available, with funding beginning at the end of the Annual Conference only after the recipient has obtained Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval.
