The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) offers this grant through the generosity of donors to its Foundation Council. It supports nurse researchers pursuing bold quantitative or mixed-methods projects that drive meaningful, transformative improvements in the nursing-home work environment and contribute to sustainable, evidence-based improvements in long-term care.
Projects must address either of two priorities: strengthening leadership, teamwork, and/or communication within and across disciplines to improve resident- and family-centered care and outcomes; or advancing meaningful engagement among nursing assistants, empowering them to share their perspectives and shape care practices and workplace decisions. Funding may also support a pilot intervention.
