The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) offers the Post-Dissertation Grant through donations to its Foundation Council. The program supports nurse researchers in the Midwest who have completed a doctoral degree and are in the postdoctoral phase or beyond. Its purpose is to advance independent programs of research that contribute to nursing science and practice.
Funding is available for quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies on any topic relevant to nursing science. Support is directed toward expenses essential to conducting the proposed research, including research assistants, supplies, study-related travel, and participant incentives. The MNRS Grants Committee reviews applications and recommends funding to the society’s Board of Directors.
