Description
The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) offers the MNRS/Advocate Health Dissertation Grant to encourage dissertation research that advances nursing science and practice. The grant supports quantitative and qualitative research on any topic relevant to nursing science, allowing doctoral students to address a broad range of nursing questions rather than a narrowly defined subject.
Support is directed toward expenses essential to conducting the proposed research, including research assistance, supplies, study-related travel, and participant incentives. The program distinguishes these research costs from educational assistance, dissertation preparation, and conference participation or travel to present findings, which it does not fund. The MNRS Grants Committee reviews applications and recommends funding avenues to the MNRS Board of Directors.
