The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) offers this grant through donations to its Foundation Council to help nurse researchers further their work and contribute to nursing science. The program supports research in the Midwest that advances nursing science and practice. Quantitative and qualitative studies on any topic relevant to nursing science are eligible, regardless of an applicant’s prior funding history or time since dissertation.
Funding is directed toward expenses essential to conducting the proposed research, rather than investigator salaries, educational assistance, equipment, or conference presentations. The MNRS Grants Committee reviews applications and recommends funding to the MNRS Board of Directors.
