The Moderna Australia Fellowship is an annual program dedicated to advancing mRNA science and medicines by supporting innovative research projects led by Australian-based scientists. The fellowship targets research in mRNA medicine/vaccine manufacturing, AI and quantum computing for mRNA design, social science related to mRNA, sustainability in mRNA production and supply, global health (especially emerging or neglected infectious diseases in the Indo-Pacific), and autoimmune cohorts and target identification.
Fellows benefit from a comprehensive learning and development experience, including tailored training, mentorship from Moderna R&D experts, access to online and in-person courses, and the opportunity to design their own individualized learning journey. The program aims to foster research excellence and build capacity in mRNA medicine R&D within Australia.
