Description
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks offers annual grants to help Montana public schools bring K–12 students to Montana WILD, its education center in Helena. Field trips provide hands-on learning about fish, mammals, macroinvertebrates, conservation, wildlife careers, archery, birding, fishing, and live birds of prey.
The grants reimburse transportation and eligible lodging expenses. FWP encourages teachers to connect a visit with classroom lessons, a broader unit, or a community activity about fish, wildlife, habitat, outdoor recreation, or stewardship. A commitment to an activity before or after the visit strengthens an application.
